During a media interaction outside the Assembly, State Leader of Opposition Subhendu Adhikari expressed apprehensions regarding the state government's decision to procure a substantial loan of Rs 7,000 crores.
Adhikari claimed that the loan application has already been submitted and asserted that the funds are intended for the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) workers.
